Cozy place with a comfy sleeper sofa in the room. the breakfast was impressive - they had hot and delicious bacon, waffles, and fresh pastries 🥓🥞. Overall, had a good day during my stay and would recommend this spot to others.

Great beds, comfortable and magnificent location near state university. Not far from the business center, Mattoon and eastern / central Illinois.

the property was recently refurbished and exceptionally comfortable. the staff, especially the Manager, were patient. 3. the hotel's location was comfy and excellent, just next door to eastern/central Illinois. 4. It was about a 10-minute drive to Meadowview Golf Course.

The location was favourable, for example, Lake Land College was relatively close to the hotel. The property itself was in a lovely area, not far from eastern/central Illinois, the business center and water activities. Had essentials needed in the king room, including a fridge and a washing machine.

In general: It is frustrating that I reserved two rooms together and when contacted the hotel the night prior was told we were all set. Then when I arrived, I was told one room was separating us because there was a water issue with the room in between. However, the room was actually taken by another guest and one who had a dog in the room who constantly barked. When I questioned the front desk why I was lied to and why there was a dog when I had to sign an agreement no pets, I was told that there was miscommunication and the manager allowed the dog. They did move us to from the first floor to the second but the hallways upstairs had a wet smell. Location and surroundings: The location was an out-of-the way spot on the far outskirts of Mattoon, but easily accessible from the interstate just off exit 184. The hotel does need landscaping to make it more attractive and signage was small. The interior lobby/lounge/breakfast area was nice. Service: Service was friendly. Dining: Good breakfast. Sports and leisure: It was an overnight stay so we did not take advantage of anything. Room: Room very clean. However, it would have been nice if the lamps were plugged in, the room fan on and the clocks set appropriately - it was blinking. Both the first rooms and the second rooms we had to correct these.

The location is great, just 1 mile from Lake Land College. Rephrased: the hotel's location is excellent, only a mile away from Lake Land College.

They serve a delicious breakfast with donuts and waffles, and the room includes a sleeper sofa, I would definitely stay here again on my next vacation.
